Antartic Food Chain

Today in Inquiry Block we did an Antartic foodchain with all the Antartic animals.

At the top of the foodchain there is the Predators.
The animals in the Predators are:

• Killer Whales
• Toothed Whales
• Leopard Seals

Then there in the Secondary Consumers.
The animals in Secondary Consumers are:

• Patagonion Fish
• Squid
• Sperm whale
• Blue Whale
• Humpback Whale
• Emperor Penguins
• King Penguins
• Royal Penguins
• Adelíe Penguins
• Chinstrap Penguins
• Wilsons Storm Petrel
• Snow Petrel
• Cape Petrel
• Weddell Seals
• Wandering Albatross
• Grey Headed Albatross
• Light-manlled Sootya Albatross
• Black Brown Albatross
• Blue Eyed Cormorant
• Crabeater

Now the Primary Consumers.
The animals are:

• Antartic Icefish
• Krill
• Jellyfish
• Starfish

Lastly is the Producers which are plants that are eaten by Primary Consumers.
The animals are:

• Seaweed
• Phytoplankton
• Plankton
